James Metcalf. When you take your scanner. If its a bad alt it would still start and run till battery died. Take jumper cables so you can put a good charge on the bat . I'd bet it will run as long as you keep jumpers on it. Just had a friend that had a loose ground on his z71 pu it caused all kinds of havoc with his electronics they had a mind of their own.

Jim Goble he is a certified Nissan tech. He is at industrial tires in green. He is the only certified tech for Nissan that I know of. Unless someone moved here.

Remember I worked for Horizon Honda, Mazda, Nissan. The other Nissan tech's moved away Dave Centers aka POKEY moved to Texas and Mike Yates moved to Portland. Jim is the only one left
