Now im getting frustrated..... nobody in this town is taking new patients at any eye doctor. If anyone knows of someone who will, please let me know. My son needs new...
Looking for new eye doctor. Anyone have recommendations?
Tallis M. replied:
Dr. Geldert, hands down. He saved my cornea(s) and will do after-hours emergency stuff.
Ed D. replied:
Dr Sidd is an Opthomologist but he is an awesome Dr. You are probably wanting an optometrist
Gary H. replied:
Terry Eachus is very good.
Judy A. replied:
Terry Eachus or Max Johnson -- they are both good, I've heard.
Sheila G. replied:
I love Dr. Geldert. He is always up with the most current information and equipment. He's so personable and kind as well! His staff is good also.
Joletha A. replied:
I like Wayne Delemator. He is mine, and was wonderful when Mother had cataract surgery. Aslo associated with Eye Asso, in Albu. years ago, Keith got a recommendation from his friend whta worked for Services for Blind in Santa Fe, they recommended Eye Asso.
Jim S. replied:
Dr. Mako U. Blind on Main street. The little shack behind the courthouse.
John S. replied:
I also use Dr. Johnson and am impressed with him. He gave me a far better exam than I ever had in the Air Force!
Cindi L. replied:
I recently switched to Dr. Geldert. Love him and his staff. Very professional and the latest, up-to-date technology. No old-fashioned dilating...new-fangled way so he can look on a monitor to make sure your eyes are healthy! Also has a nice selection of up-to-date frames.
Barb E. replied:
Dr Max Johnson
Barb E. replied:
Dr Geldert is a good Doctor and has all the latest and greatest equipment but I always left his office with a very high bill
Emily H. replied:
We go to Dr. Carter and like him, but he's hard to get in to. He's the only one in town who takes the school district insurance. I called today for an appointment, and the earliest appointment she had was Sep. 13.
Heidi H. replied:
Dr. Johnson is my eye doctor - been with him for years. He DOES take school insurance (always has), so not sure why up above said Carter was the only one who did. I was very unhappy with Dr. Carter the one and only time I tried him - my standards are too high for him I guess. I didn't think he was all that professional.
Ray B. replied:
When we ran the optical shop there, one Doc we never had any problem with was Delamater. But, he smokes (or did) and he smells like it too. Max Johnson is good too.
