I Hated Women's first and ended up switching about halfway through my pregnancy. You don't know which of the docs will actually be delivering you & None of them are on the same page. I got different/conflicting answers everytime I went there. I went to Jan McIntosh (midwife) & Dr Milo at Henry Ford West Bloomfield- amazing.

Sarah A. replied:
I go to Dr. Deborah Charfoos in Clawson. It is a bit larger practice with around 6 docs, but until the end of your pregnancy you will see her. And I actually had a different doc for my two deliveries and was happy with both.

Womens First in Royal Oak. All the doctors are wonderful!! They delivered both of my girls and were amazing with several issues I had during my second pregnancy. I highly recommend them!! They only do the "big" ultrasounds (8 weeks, 18 weeks).

Dr. Adelman at 16 and crooks! Great service all around

I'm going to second (third, fourth) Somerset ObGyn. Three women, two men, you have to see all of them during your pregnancy. A wonderful caring office, really nice nurses (Cathy and Jolie) and their own US room. Dr Foley delivered my son, and she was absolutely excellent. No long waits, pleasant front desk. Really nice people.

Dr. Wiermiller is the best! I prefer to go to a female also and she's wonderful.

Another vote for Somerset ObGyn! All the doctors are great, but Dr. Foley is my favorite. I started seeing her about 6 years ago when she was still at her private practice in Warren. She makes you feel so comfortable, is so down to earth and was seriously amazing during delivery!!:)

Dr. Marcotte at Women's Health and Menopause!!! ❤ She is ridiculously incredible. Never felt rushed prenatally, she genuinely wanted to answer every question. We had a bunch of complications and she was so appropriate and supportive. In the actual c-section she scrubbed in right before i got my spinal and i was really tense and anxious. She said "i can totally scrub in again" to the other docs, took my hands, helped calm me and provided such support. She is really a diamond in the ruff... I've never had a doc like her. As an aside, I've always experienced much pain with PAPs and have never had one that I've left without being in tears - she's magical. Not an ounce of pain and I barely feel it (what??). Right. Magical.
Fozia S. replied:

Just wondering if you've considered Beaumont Royal Oak--I had my c section there and it was a great experience-- dr Weiermiller from Somerset OBGYN. I think Beaumont has an amazing nicu too just in case. Rooms were really nice too.

I just switched there from another hospital! I love my new dr! Dr. Eisenstein and a midwife as well, Patricia scane. They are amazing! (Side note: I had a not so good c section experience previously so specifically chose them to hope for a good experience! They are amazing and promote skin-to-skin, breastfeeding etc even after a section)
Leah T. replied:
I see Patricia Scane or Amy Zimmerman - both midwives in Troy and they deliver out of Henry Ford West Bloomfield. There are Dr's in the practice as well if you prefer that..

If you don't mind driving to West Bloomfield for appointments, I completely recommend Dr. Marcotte, who delivers at HFWB. She is doing a second c-section on me in July. The whole practice is caring, and the birthing experience at HFWB is wonderful.
Briana B. replied:
I've been at the practice since my soon to be 8 year old was born (before the hospital was built) and have had nothing but good experiences. Dr. Goldfarb, Dr. Davidson, and Dr. Simmerman are great. I saw genetics, Maternal Fetal (Dr. Murphy), and ultrasound techs, all of which were nothing amazing. I was high risk, so I was at the office twice a week at least. I delivered there 7 weeks ago via c section (my third) to and had a great experience. They are very baby friendly, promoted breast feeding, and skin to skin. Not to mention the hospital is gorgeous and the food was good, too! Good luck and feel free to message me with any questions!
Katrina M. replied:
I also see Dr Davidson, who is also the Chief of OB I believe. The others ate also great- Eisenstein, Simmerman, Molina
Generations In Birmingham has several docs...and I have liked all of them (they have you meet them all during a pregnancy in case your doc is not on duty) The office is amazing..does not feel like a doctors office at all. Dr. Lippencott is my current ob and she is wonderful. https://www.myobgyn.biz/MeetOurPractice.html
