Best to stick to foods that are naturally GF. Otherwise Trader Joe's has a good selection, and ShopRite and Stop & Shop have dedicated sections/aisles for GF food. Aldi's also has their own GF brand and is reasonably priced.

Best of luck to you! I've not been to Happy Carrot yet, but Shop Rite is Ramsey has great prices on GF products (cookies, crackers, etc). I try to focus on foods that are naturally GF so as to avoid processed foods, but that applies to my non-GF kids too. Melissa Webber I am one of the owners of GIO's Gluten Free Catering in Waldwick NJ. We recently created a Gluten Free Handbook that can help you in your journey. Pm me if interested and I would be happy to send to it to you. We have shared with a few of our clients and all have said it's very helpful. Also, we provide home-style meals each week that are prepared in a gluten free environment free from cross contamination. What I have found most challenging for my son is having healthy easy access food on the go. This difficulty was the catalyst for our business GIO's.
