Mi Fan, near Primorskaya metro station is pretty good - http://www.mifan777.ru/ It's better to reserve a table in advance as they're often pretty full. There are also a few small, authentic cafés around (two in the market by Sennaya Ploschad' and one near Vladimirskaya metro station), but these places are pretty hard to find. Ni Hao on Nevsky is also decent.
