Sounds like it could be thyroid issues. Good thing to have it tested. The Energy Medicine for Women book would be a good resource & you may want to find an experienced practitioner to help steer you in the right direction.

I have a feeling that the Bikram is hard on the adrenals. So in addition to doing EEM for the thyroid, I would support all hormones thru exercises like the Rooster Comb hold, adrenal, and cortisol holds. Massage adrenal points on front and back. http://wellwithin.net/adrenal-fatigue/ Eden Rooster Comb Hold http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTscM4Hq0 as

Hi Jaswinder- This is something I have seen before and Michelle is on the right track with pointing you to my adrenal correction link. However, there is really a simple solution - years ago I attended a few Bikram Yoga classes. It was such a challenge I called it "Rambo Yoga" as it didn't feel right that I was overtaxing my energies in such high heat. So I never went back. Last year I had a patient with various issues and the simple solution was to stop that style of yoga. The high heat, combined with excessive sweating and detox is a poor combination for someone who is already dealing with adrenal fatigue. And if someone is stressed, that's going to be compromising the adrenals. The adrenals are governed by Triple Warmer and are activated through the fight or flight response under stress. The adrenals also sit on top of the kidneys so they share a special relationship too. The hair on the top of the head is governed by Kidneys. Kidneys are also involved with the balance of water and salt in the body. When someone is very dehydrated and sweating a lot the kidneys are challenged to excrete and detox. First suggestion is to stop the Bikram Yoga. Second is to increase water and electrolytes. Third I suggest rest to restore the adrenals. From there anything to sedate Triple Warmer and adrenal balancing exercises. If you are a practitioner I recommend doing Harmonize the Fire on her. Fastest way I know to bring all of this back to balance. Here's the link for more info: http://www.energymedicinestore.com/HARMONIZE-THE-FIRE-CHART-DVD-AND-5-PAGE-INSTRUCTIONAL-EBOOK_p_100.html Beyond that, I really recommend Energy Testing her body to find out what she most needs before you begin to do a lot of sedating or strengthening anything else. That's the best tool we have and her energy is going to be different from everyone else's. Wishing you both the best. Be Well Within . . . Dr Melanie Energy Medicine for Healthy Living™

via Energy Medicine for Healthy Living™ Hi Tonya - I have done it on the first session, but my recommendation is to do some Energy Testing on the first session. Get your client started with pieces of the Daily Energy Routine, out of Homolateral Repatterning, etc and onboard with their homework and then do something shorter like Quickie Energy Balancer and/or Black Pearl Technique. Part of it depends on how much time you will have with them for their first visit. It's important to spend that time bonding and connecting. Then on a follow up session you could get into Harmonize the Fire which is a more intimate experience. It's a very powerful experience as a lot of energy and hormones are moved. It also takes an hour or more to go through it. You want the person to be able to integrate this level of experience. It's important to meet the person where they are at . . . the best tool would be to energy test for priority. Let me know how it goes! Wishing you all the best, Dr. Melanie
