Rob Rodriguez.....I'm hoping that Thomas Harris will comment on this - he and Ron Csehill have written a great guide to drip irrigation. I can't remember the name of the place that Tom orders his components from. Vince Vita goes to Ewing Irrigation for supplies that he has used at the Children's Garden. Many master gardeners patronize Dripworks. Also, I believe that Shanna Cronk Ciano has bought items locally at Home Depot or Lowes. Personally - I'm going to Ewing this week to set up a line for my potted plants too.

There are several good ones, Mr. Thomas Harris could recommend some I think. Hope those pots are big enough to handle the roots! Should be 2 1/2' to 3' in diameter and at least 12" to 18" deep. Would be a good idea to put water-absorbing material (with potting mix) in the bottom half of the pots to help hold the water! Also make sure the pots are a light color so as not to absorb too much heat from the sun! Star Jasmine likes a little afternoon shade.

At most Home Depots(cheaper) and Lowes you can look at all the types of emitters to make your selection. Adjustable drippers(emitters) as Tom said allows you to customize amount at each pot with one style dripper. There are inline drippers that allow you to go pot to pot with out a T fitting at each pot. Know what you want is best but looking helps that. Dripirrigation.com has a tutorial that can help you

Personally, I get my drip supplies from dripirrigation.com. I've not been to Ewings yet
I am wanting to put more trees into very large clay pots around my pool for some shade. I have a drip irrigation system hooked up to these pots. I have done very well...
