Bohanans, Mortons, and Biga on the Banks are all very nice but can costs quite a pretty penny. I hear Tre is nice too

Fujiya Garden near Med Center is both delicious and beautiful. They even have a tatami room for an authentic Japanese air. I'd suggest reservations for the tatami room, though. It was my wife and i's go-to special occasion place when we lived in San Antonio.

Fogo de Chao, nearby the river walk and the river center mall. It's a tad bit pricy but it's worth it because its an authentic Brazilian steakhouse.

Chef's table at Tre Trattoria. $50 a person for 6-8 courses.
Wildfish is excellent and they give you a special treat for your anniversary :)

I liked ZINC but it is pricey. It's in the downtown area but not on the Riverwalk.
