Tina - Stephanie Mullins is accurate. The waiting time penalties are stiff and your former employer will be penalized for failure to pay. As a HR Manager, filing a labor claim is the best recourse. An attorney will likely bill you per hour and any money you are due would go to pay their bill. If you would like to pm me, I can walk you thru the steps of what you need to do. It's quite simple actually.

I have been an employment paralegal for 30 years and the BEST plaintiff's employment lawyer I have ever seen is Carney Shegerian in LA. Worth the drive, his settlements and jury verdicts are insanely high. You deserve more than your withheld wages, you deserve additional money for your their illegal actions. Good luck
