Anyone have any experience/recommendations for an adopt a soldier type charity? We are looking to adopt one as a family, since we don't have any current serving family...

You may want to contact the Airman & Family Readiness Center in Brandon. They can probably direct you if they know/hear or something. Gayle is the manager there. 855-9281

There is a great organization in Riverview- Until Every Troop Comes Home. They are on Facebook and have a web page-www.untileverytroopcomeshome.org. It is run by a Gold Star Mom and they send care packages and give you the opportunity to "adopt" a sol dier while deployed. They also do things locally. This is a great organization- you can sign up to send birthday cards to soldiers, be a penpal, as well as condolence letters to the fallen's families. Check out their facebook page or web page.

DaveMHawes@gmail.com is the email of Dave Hawes. You had mentioned a Christion organization, so I googled "The Navigators" a very established ministry group that originally started as a ministy for military and has now branched out as a campus ministr y group as well. Dave is the contact person for The Navigators at Macdill. We have been involved in The Navigators at previous duty stations and I am sure he can assist you in doing what you are looking to do.

Does anyone know if Mr. Hunter is still teaching? I wanted to nominate him for a special award through Grammy's sponsored by Parade Magazine but nominees need to be...

Go to parade magazine web site, I think it's www.parade.com/music
Need to find a good printing service for my already designed flyers. Can anyone recommend a place other than the obvious ones like Kinko's, Staple, or Vistaprint?
