If you are ever in another part of the East Bay - the Walnut Creek area, Encina Vet Hospital on Ygnacio is outstanding. They are emergency vets and offer special services. My dog had disc surgery there and I can't say enough good things.

I was there just last week. My adorable little rat terrier mix had a terrible case of HGE. The Campbell clinic was able to get him on the road to recovery!
