Orchestria Palm Court is one of my favorites. Very small, quiet, lots of fun ambiance as the restaurant is decked out in player pianos. I found it delightful and perfect for a valentine's day dinner with my SO.

Black Sheep in Willow Glen, Nick's Next Door in Los Gatos, Willard Hicks in Campbell, Grill on the Alley in San Jose, The Farmer's Union in San Jose (I think some areas of this restaurant are loud), Namea in San Jose.

I am from Italy and I think the best pizza in the south bay is Pizza Bocca Lupo at the San Pedro Market Place. The owner of La Pizzeria in Campbell seems like a very nice guy and the place is nice, but the pizza does not even come close to real pizza in Italy. I just went to bocca lupo yesterday and it is magnificent!
