Do I know a seamstress or tailor here on FB in the east bay? I went to Out of the Closet in Oakland yesterday and scored a really cool Kenneth Cole black velvet dinner...

http://www.yelp.com/biz/sues-sewing-shop-hayward - I went to Sue for my wedding dress that was about two sizes too small, she was able to add a panel in the back and make it fit perfect. Really affordable and neat work! Every time I went in there she was working on something different as well, from wedding dresses to jeans to jackets...

There's a place on E. 14 th near the post office that I've taken stuff to before. The lady did a great job. I just googled it. I think it's called European Design. Also, the lady at Cherry City Cleaners on Washington at Parrot is really nice. I've seen her working on alterations on the local firefighters uniforms, so she must be pretty good. Never taken alterations there, but I use them for dry cleaning.
