I used to go to Gentle Dental near Toys R Us. They're willing to accommodate fearful patients (perfect for me.) and do one or two things at a time if that's your comfort level. I don't know what they charge. I was under my mom's coverage through her work back then.

If you want a good dentist go to A street Dental in Hayward. Dr Tonnu is the best! After going through hell finding a dentist for so long, I finally found a great one. I've been a patient of hers for about 13 years now and everyone I refer to her is still a patient.

I have Kaiser so can't help with a doctor but as far a dentist, I go to Dr. Mendez in Fremont and he is honest and amazing. He breaks it down so you understand exactly what he is doing (which is something I need).

Until my husband's company switched to Kaiser 2 years ago I went to Dr. Titov in San Leandro. He's located in one of the bldgs by San Leandro Hospital. I loved him and was sad to have to switch.
