Harlan Hughes...Hey, Harlan...how are you...it might very well have been one of your shots...as there were several different photographers that worked on the yearbook over the years, and as a photographer myself, felt it would be courteous to list as 'unknown' rather than guess....if you shot it, it's a great human interest shot...thanks

I was never in Rainbow Girls, but I remember when I was 3 or 4-5 years old I sang at two Rainbow installation ceremonies, one for Ruby Foster and one for Laura Leigh Lerno (they both lived in Pozo, as we did); I believe I sang "Open Up Your Heart and Let the Sunshine In" for Ruby's, and I know I sang "Que Sera Sera" for Laura Leigh's. Annie Echeverria made my dress for the 1 st one, and then just added an extra ruffle at the bottom the 2 nd time, as I'd grown about 4". Both were held up in the Rotunda room. I'm pretty sure that I got asked to sing at functions at that age, not because I had a great voice, but because I could so easily be HEARD!
Barbara B. replied:
Lisa, nice memory. I followed Loralee as Worthy Advisor of Rainbow girls.

Shep & Bob (my dad) were cousins. My dad owned the one on Traffic Way & ECR in the early 60's before he worked at Seth Johnston Ford in the late 60's. Not sure what year he made the change.
Tammie W. replied:
WHAT??? Those noises were a good reason he needed a hearing aid! I remember spending Saturdays with my brother Bobby at the nearby Ming Cafe with Donna & Raymond and looking at comics at the Greyhound bus depot then off to the races.
