The Bears Paw is very nice, but at £115 per night it's a bit expensive.

Last year we had a big party with friends from all over the country, they stayed in think it was Holiday Inn in Crewe. I know not best of surrounding area but it was clean, not pricey, and only 10 minutes away. By MacDonalds so easy for a bite too! Do a google or booking.com, you can get some deals there. Good Luck!

Diane & Andrew Hollinshead have a B&B at Arclid which is very popular and close to J17 of the M6. They have a website and on trip advisor
