Anis Bistro, 2974 Grandview Ave, Atlanta,30305,404 233-9889. I guarantee you a wonderful meal in a authentic French bistro located in a old house in the heart of Buckhead. Try the mussels and pom fritz, way under $40 each probably including some house wine. You will not be sorry ! Canoe is a favorite but pricey.

Who remembers the restaurant in Buckhead called The 7 Steers and had a big steer on top of it? Somehow it showed up on the roof of my. High School, Sandy Springs H S,...

7 Steers motto was "Help Stamp Out Home Cooking." It was opened by a man named Tom Ham. He was a friend of my late father. Tom died after a routine surgical procedure in about 1963. He left no family.

The Pewter Mug was the best for bloody marys and their bar. Food was good too.

Skating: old fourth ward skate park off the Beltline is a pretty common spot depending on where you live, there’s other nice places outside Atlanta in the suburbs. I just used an empty parking lot to learn for like 3 months though.
Mlk rec center is $100 a year with a small gym, pool, track, and indoor court. They’re closed for covid though and not sure when opening. Planet fitness is $10 a month but no basketball. Maybe try the ymca? I belonged there for awhile, it was great but always busy.
There’s joystick gamebar on Edgewood that’s a casual bar/lounge that has cabinets and tournament nights. But for more of a gaming cafe with stuff you’re looking for there’s a place off the Beltline called Axis(?)... but it’s closed right now too I think.
