The Owls Preschool at the Sanford-Springvale YMCA. Fantastic program, amazing teachers. Kids swim twice a week and visit the library once a week. Worth getting on the wait list for when your child turns 3. http://sanfordymca.org/for-youth-development/education-leadership/owls-preschool/

I offer a preschool program Tue-Thurs 9-12 with Childcare options before and after hours. I also offer care on Monday, but not on Friday. I have one opening right now but have a waiting list for Fall. I'm not sure if you'd be interested based on no availability at this time past summer, but feel free to call or contact if I can be of help. I'm in Wells on Wire Rd just 5 miles from Sanford Walmart. I also have a Country Kids Preschool, Wells Maine Facebook page, feel free to check us out. :) Good Luck! -Casey 502-7171

I always thought I wanted an in-house daycare but I wound up preferring the centers, I find it less worrisome. We have been at Curtis Lake early learning center since beau was 12 weeks old, just about 2 years now. Amanda is the infant teacher and she is phenomenal. My kids have gone through the infant rooms, toddler, and now preschool and all the staff are fantastic, the curriculum is great and it's a locked facility which I love. Check them out for a tour!

First Steps Learning Center through Sanford Community Adult Education - have weekly, partial weekly, daily and hourly rates. Low caregiver to child ratio and separate areas for babies/toddlers and preschoolers. Call Jessica at 490-9712! They are awesome.

Have never had anything but great treatment of our pets at Down Maine Vet clinic, been going there forever!
Jenna D. replied:
I use the Alfred waterboro veterinarian hospital and love it there! Prior to going there I used the ridge (Springvale) and Great Brook (lebanon) Both of which I wouldn't use again! My dog was misdiagnosed at the Ridge and was treated for months with no results... The vets in Alfred have always gotten me in right away without charging me an arm and a leg. I would also recommend checking out AWS for spay/neutering of your pets. They offer discounts to fit your income.

Dr Chapin at Broadview in Rochester and Milton Vet Clinic. He works at both. We have used him at Broadview for 19 yrs. Very compasionate with his patients. Very thorough and explains everything in very simple terms.

The Ridge is the best.. Dr. Sylvie Epper-Cote is the best she is wonderful with any animal and is so loving and caring Vet you will ever meet... Give her a try her whole team at the Ridge are just so Amazing.
Mike F. replied:
Kennebunk AWS is amazing. Not a fan of The Ridge at all. We now use dr. Julie Matthews at Village Vet in York. A bit of a ride, but they are amazing. They are treating my lab who has lymphoma. Holistic treatments instead of chemo. Saving us thousands and our dog is happy and really making good progress. Alive 3 weeks longer than The Ridge said she would be without chemo. Alive, happy, and healthy!
Caitlyn P. replied:
Some really nice people I started taking my pup to are the Ross corner animal wellness center, they are in Shapleigh. If your dogs are less than 50 lbs you can bring them to the animal welfare society spay/neuter clinic. Prices just sent up, it's $110 for males, used to be $120 for females, not sure what it is now because I didn't ask (we have a male). Rozzie May clinic in Conway nh also does inexpensive spay/neuter, prices vary by weight.
Caitlyn P. replied:
We used Post road vet in Wells, I don't recommend them. We have also used Acton Vet, nice people. I highly recommend you look up Ross Corner tho, they offer free nail clipping, free follow up sick pet visits!
Elaine S. replied:
The Vet Dr Sophie at the ridge is awesome. She will actually sit on the floor to get to know your animal. I can not say enough positive things about her!!!
Bill M. replied:
Highly recommend the Shelter Spay/Neuter Clinic at the AWS in West Kennebunk. Very caring and kind staff. Quality care with reasonable pricing.

I have an opening as of right now. I own a small family daycare in my home. We pride ourselves on giving the sense of an extended family to everyone in our care. My daughter is my only employee. I am a mother of 4 and grandmother to 6. My daughter has a child of her own. We are both cpr/first aid certified and maintain the required by law trainings each year. Miss Rae's Learn and Play is open 5 days per week from 6:30 - 5:30. Feel free to look us up on our page on Facebook where you will find my contact information as well. Hood luck with your search but I'm hoping to hear from you.
