Just started going to Freeport Cleaners (Freeport/21 st), near the train tracks: https://goo.gl/maps/RsKrnr8TLWJ2 Fast, not expensive, friendly, easy parking. They earned my business after they successfully removed a Simpsons-colored collar ring from a white shirt of mine.

Buy a good iron and watch a few youtube videos. When I wash my shirts, I hang dry them with the top button buttoned. Shake it out to get the wrinkles out. Iron them in about 4 minutes. It's part of my morning routine and my shirts stay nice looking throughout an entire day, unless it's just hot as hell. If you want starch, starch them up. No chemicals and you'll save money fairly quickly. IIRC, I bought a nice Rowenta from Bed Bath and Beyond with their big coupon.
SB: Dry Cleaner Recommendations I always search this sub before posting, but didn't find anything on dry cleaners this time.
What are your recommendations?...

Had good luck with Eco Friendly Cleaners as well. They have a great Axxess deal (50% off) on your first visit.

If you are dry cleaning regularly for work or something, then consider getting an Axxess card for $40. There are quite a few dry cleaners on Axxess who offer 50% off first service, so you can go from one place to another getting a good discount (5 in total I think across offering locations). I had an alteration and all 15 of my work shirts done and it saved $35 on my first clean, basically paid for the card. I like Eco Friendly Cleaners on Canon Perdido, but I’m sure there are cheaper places around.
Okay SB friends - I need a recommendation for a reasonably priced seamstress/tailor to do some alterations for me with a decent turn around time (a week maybe?). ...
