Here is the link to Oregon on the EAGALA website - http://eagala.org/Oregon. It doesn't list anyone in Bend however, which is a shame because it's not only beautiful there but full of youth programs! However, I did see an ES from there who just went to the Part 1 in OR in Oct. Her name is Lisa Gould and you can connect with her through EAGALA Community (through the Directory), or you may want to post in the Oregon Group under groups as those posts go to all members in Oregon.

Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch is in Bend. They are not associated with EAGALA, but they may be interested in having it facilitated there. It wouldn't hurt to ask. They have developed there own mentoring riding program there, and may be interested in having a therapy program. Www.CPYR.org

Hi Leah Jarrett yes only one member of the team needs to be Eagala certified but ideal if both are. Once you are certified and a member of Eagala you get access to the community part of the website and can post that you are looking for an ES. There is also the EME Eagala Facebook community and this page as well as connecting with members at networking groups for your area. I've just taken over the role of regional co-ordinator role for Eagala and am based in the UK so happy to talk through and answer any questions 07949 862464.

DIna, we are a non profit 501 C 3 in New Jersey. Much will depend on the client population you intend to serve and the services or programs as well. Are you in an area that is local to many county programs that can be funded through the county? Are you in an area that will support private pay and will you have a clinician that will provide insurance forms? You might want to touch base with Shannon at Horse Sense of the Carolinas . She is a great business consultant and can really help you through the maze. Good luck.
