have you try meetup.com? I've used that effectively in the past to both find groups and start groups....haven't been on since moving however.

Professional Network Group is one of the oldest in Sarasota. They meet for lunch on Tuesday or Wednesday at Dutch Heritage Restaurant. It's a non compete group and a bunch of nice people. I can give you Presidents telephone if you want to check them out. First lunch is complimentary. Lori Landis is my good friend and is acting President this year.
