This is the first time leaving my dogs with someone I don't really know so thanks for all the advice so far. I have heard good things about a few of the kennels outside of the city: the poop guys, Lynne Road Kennels, Cactus Wood and Riverside. so I am going to see if they have an availability. Has anyone heard anything about those? After that I will try Paws Republic (Lisa - their space looks very nice on their website)

Jessica Hamilton We boarded out dogs there many times, the people and the owner brent is amazing. Our one dog had problems with guys, couldn't be around them and didn't trust them and they were so good with her there it helped with the problem.

We used to board dogs and I heard several horror stories about Happy Dog Acres. Do you think that might be why they changed their name? Unfortunately I am not boarding right now. If your still searching you could try this place. She is on the hywy between Delisle & Pike Lake and I would think she is ok for larger, farm type dogs. Deb's K-9 Kenneling Service fiddlefaddle@sasktel.net office 220-4727 res: 493-3053 and the vet at Delisle also boards smaller dogs.

I have my own business where I offer pet sitting in the clients home. www.passionfurpawspetcare.com . I used to work at Happy Dog Acres(for over 3 years) and that is not why they changed their name. The location in Sutherland is now called Playful Paws Pet Center and has completely NEW owners. www.playfulpawspetcenter.net . Brent only has his rural location(Ta Ta Fur Now). My friend Kristine owns a great pet boarding facility in Martensville called Paws Republic Boarding and Training Center www.pawsrepublic.ca . I would also check out Riverside Resort for Pets in Saskatoon http://www.riversideresortforpets.ca .

Loved Happy Dog Acres in Saskatoon in the Sutherland area were always amazing with our dogs when we took them there!!

Brent and Lynsay separated a few years ago. Lynsay has her own pet sitting business now called Cozy Critters Pet Sitterz where she does in-client-home pet care.
