Podiatrist would be a waste of time. All they do is deal with ingrown toenails, bunions, and callouses. A review with a competent physio would likely go a long ways. If it's something more chronic than that, you would need to see an orthopedic surgeon or at the very least a family dr with a sports medicine specialiaty.

Have you tried your family doctor? If they can't help you they could, if they felt it necessary, refer you to a specialist (e.g. orthopedic surgeon, physiatrist, sports med specialist, etc.).
