Try Cerras Market. Used to be Lynnfield Deli I think and recently moved into the new spot closer to the middle of rt1 in Saugus. Family owned italian place with subs and prepared meals.

Santarpios if you like classic NY style pizza.

Most of the places on the north side (hell most on the south side too) are just chain restaurants, especially if you're looking for takeout. There is a Fuddruckers on 1N and they have slightly better burgers than most fast food places. Also there is Kelly's... they're far from the best roast beef and seafood place on the North Shore, but they are serviceable as road food, and it's easy to get right back on 1N from where it is.
