among the answers not mine -- Lee had it right -- download malwarebytes - from malwarebytes.org -- install - update - run - clean --- if this fails there are other things

Yes Jerry -- Windows Defender isnt all that bad -- Spybot - search and destroy -- is free --- ccleaner <sp> a few more --- and some more complicated to use ... not for normal users ....
