We are soon moving to Ardsley! We have three dogs and are looking for recommendations for a vet, boarding and pet sitter who could come to the house periodically. ...

Savannah Pet Sitters Erica Deeb Cannon. My animals love her and I'm extremely cautious about who my animals are around. I also use Animal House at Live Oak for my dogs for last minute stuff if Erica is booked! My one dog is a digger and has been known to bolt, so I like how secure the potty areas are. I think it's important to go look at and tour a boarding facility though bc what one person thinks is great might really unnerve someone else. You should feel at ease, not that other people are at ease.

We love Dr. Mulvey at Savannah Veterinary Medical Center! We can't recommend him enough!
Kacey T. replied:

Erica C. replied:

Neely North at Berwick Animal Hospital does chiropractic and they have a physical therapist on staff. It would be quite a drive for you though.
Stephanie S. replied:
Dr. Beth Martin is a mobile vet that does acupuncture and some holistic. I met her at the Wilmington Island Farmers Market last year when she was doing a health clinic. I haven't personally used her, though.

No, Dr. Ducey is closest on Bonaventure, about a mile or so from Coaches, straight down that street it corners on, turn left, then left again. He keeps odd hours.

Sarah Fisk, maybe there ws a mixup since your friend's cat was also hit. Someone took a pic of a hit cat and showed it to my neighbor. She id the cat she saw as hers. We live pretty close to Coach's. Very confusing. She was told that the cat's neck was broken. I guess she will have to just wait until tomorrow to find out something. I did call the emergency AC no. but it turned out to be 911 and they said it would be morning before she could speak with them. Thanks, everyone, for the info. given..
Denise H. replied:

Closest vet is Brian Mulvey - Savannah Veterinary Clinic on Victory across from Home Depot.
Jim's niece is married to Dr. Lester. We heard very good comments about him.
Richard S. replied:
Dr Lester for sure.
Caroline V. replied:
Dr Lester is wonderful. Landmark Vet. He was a vet at Islands for years, until he semi-retired, and realized there was a need for home visits. He's a truly compassionate man, and I'd recommend him. He cares.
Case Vet -- Not cheap, but I never have to wait, and they are wonderful with the girls.
Emily W. replied:
We started going to Island Vet Clinic this year, which I've found to be more affordable and less sales driven than Case. The vet called me once a week for about a month after my dog's last visit to check up on him and see if he was feeling better. It is well worth the drive to Wilmington Island.

We love Chatham Animal Hospital and Bird Clinic. When our dog was a puppy she needed a very serious surgery and they were amazing through the whole process!
