In my opinion I wouldn't say Dr. Leist is the best around. I have MS and i went to see Dr. Leist and he told me that he did not know if the medicine would help me. That was the first and time he saw me.

I see Dr. Greenstein off of 95 near Philly he just has MS patients. I have been going to him for 10 years
Doris M. replied:
You might look into the Philadelphia Chapter of the National MS Society. They may have a referral list or a local support group where you could get recommendations from members. Check if there is an MS Clinic at one of the major hospitals - a specialist in this field, not just general neurology and definitely board certified.

Yes if your insurance covers it go see Dr. Liest ( not sure if I spelled it right) he still should be head of Neurology at Jefferson in Philly. he dx me in 02. He is the best around. I go to Dr Bromley at Virtua Voorhees. I am very happy with him and he also work s with Dr Liest on things. They both specialize in MS.
