You can do it with your phone then, you should because you pay for that monthly. You might just have to set it up with your phone. You would need an updated system. There was a recent update that just came out. Then you can follow these instructions for your phone. https://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/ios.html Good luck. It takes a while but it is worth it. :)
