I recently reco'd the Cliff Side B&B (as the Inn was booked) to friends coming in town as it had some great comments from a previous ask on this site. They contacted them and were very happy with the booking process. Plus your guests can walk into town etc http://www.cliffbedandbreakfast.com/index.html

I can vouch for Cliffside clean nice landlady and great breakfast. Just near Peggotty and close walk to the harbor. Rates are less than The Inn. I stayed there in Sep 2013.

Bridgeway & Inn in the Harbor are too pricey... I think they're going to do Best Western Rockland... Too many for just an air mattress & my neighbors would have a coronary if I set up a tent... Frankly, they would prefer it if my house washed out to sea -- apparently not living in a McMansion is now a crime in town!!
