Does anyone have a piano tuner/tech they recommend? I'm looking to buy a used piano and would like to find someone who could help me evaluate potential pianos.

I just got a piano and I didn't have to pay for it. David Endicott, who runs Music4 life program hooked me up. It's a nation wide program Rotaries support and you can find them here on FB to check out what they do.. Instruments are donated to this program. Often there are people trying to get rid of pianos but the program can't use/take them. He can direct you to a possible piano and he also gave me an incredible tuner guy recommendation. David found me a piano and I paid to have it moved and tuned. David's #206-409-3275. DavidEndicott@Live.com Tell him Mary sent you. I met him at the Des Moines Rotary wine festival. He hooked me up with a gorgeous little upright that a woman was getting rid of.

Portia, you can often find FREE Pianos on craigslist as well. You'd be surprised how many unwanted beautiful pianos are out there. They simply need a home, some love and tuning.... Do some searching and call David. I'm so happy with my piano! Now I need lessons! When all was said and done, I paid a little over $200 for delivery and about that much to have tuned...$400 later I'm the proud owner of a piano!

I just found the piano tuners information in my phone- Dave Davies: 425-221-1320. He lives in Renton and was very kind and professional. I really liked his work.He even fixed the music holder, which had come off and was tucked away in the piano bench. I do have some experience playing the piano, took lessons as a kid (and play by ear). I was happy with his work.

I have a very nice studio upright we've been wanting to sell. It definitely needs a tuning as my daughter has switched more to guitar. Tom Porter (neighborhood) had tuned it regularly but not for a few years.
Who knows a good piano tuner? Youngstown Cultural Arts Center in need of piano tuning services. Would be great to find a friend or friend of friend...Know anyone?
