Www.ericriveracooks.com and Copine are my favorite experiences in Seattle. Also Single Shot, Stateside, Shaker + Spear (all the s’s I guess?). My French Canadian neighbor loves Rock Creek (as do I) and Pomerol. The beef experience at Bateau is one of a kind too. And Walrus & carpenter for oysters.
Laurie T. replied:
These are a few I would recommend. Some of the best chefs in the city IMHO. If beer is more your speed No Anchor has the same kitchen as Navy Strength. Side note, I believe one of the sous chefs at Shaker and Spear has a knife and fork tattoo. They do some creative dishes there but I've never eaten there. I follow them on instagram.
Claude L. replied:
Fellow Quebecois here. Copine, Messe, Tarzan I Jane, Walrus and Carpenter, Lark ( VERY pnw), L'oursin, Cafe Juanita, Joule, Canlis (Very creative but $$$ yet worth it). Take a cab to Ballard and do a breweries and distilleries tour before going to Stoneburnner or Staple and Fancy mercantile

Here's a few I have had decent some interactions with, * First Data, though they use proprietary machines. http://www.firstdata.com * Gravity Payments, good tech support. http://www.gravitypayments.com * Heartland Payment Systems, had a local rep (as in you could actually meet them in person) http://www.heartlandpaymentsystems.com

Here is a similar question asked recently. http://www.reddit.com/r/smallbusiness/comments/19 r8 vp/lowest_rates_for_online_credit_card_processing/ It is more focused on online transactions, but the discussion of various merchant providers is still pertinent. If you get a good grasp of how the whole merchant provider process works, it will help you greatly in negotiating pricing.

I own and run a small retail business. We use Authorize.net at the moment and our bank actually offers the merchant services portion of our payment processing. Authorize.net has been nothing but solid for the store. Check with some of the smaller banks in your area to see if they offer a similar services. Their fees are incredibly affordable, because they are just breaking even. They offer it as a service in order to grow their business checking accounts. I am opening an Ecommerce site for our current inventory this summer and I am going to use Braintree for the site. I have known a few people to use them with a lot of success. Good luck!
Cascadia Pizza Co. did our wedding in September and they were AMAZING!! We are so obsessed with their pizza and our guests loved it!! They were on time, service was awesome, more than enough pizza (we got to pick our favorite 5 to be served). It was so perfect and i can't recommend them enough!

For a "nice birthday dinner" with very good pizza I suggest going to https://www.facebook.com/121388547875079 Delancey. The atmosphere is right for the occasion. For a more casual sit down with https://www.facebook.com/1063314247053021 delicious pizza you can also consider Dino's Tomato Pie. Both are good choices with different style pizzas and vibes.
