I have heard good things from my farrier about Dr. Gary White in Sallisaw (Sallisaw Equine Clinic). He is supposed to be excellent with legs and lameness. Sallisaw is right on I-40 and had a popular horse track (Blue Ribbon Downs) until a couple of years ago so most of the vets there are knowledgeable about horses.
