Freshways Supermarket on the Hull Road in York. It's an Asian supermarket, sells everything you'd need for curries, bhajis etc in larger bags and paneer, yogurt etc in their refrigerator section. It's a while since I've been but I don't think it'll have changed much. You can always ring to check they stock what you want before you go x another suggestion from selby cuisine.
