Can anyone tell me anything about "Wok and Roll" on 94th Ave N around 9th St N? Looking for good Chinese restaurant in St Pete area
Rose-Marie S. replied:
I was going to Lanna Thai in St Pete because the food was delish, prices moderate, decor enchanting, and the wait staff's silk dresses beautiful. You think you were dining in a Thai palace…exotic charm everywhere you look. But I went on a Sunday nig ht and the food was disappointing. I even sent the Jasmine tea back because there was no flavor. Sundays and Mondays are really iffy because the head chef may be off…beware!

I have been taking my local friends and Seattle family, who are use to great Asian food, to ABC Seafood on 54 Ave N near 27 th St and they rave about it. Creative Loafing has given the restaurant a 4-star review. Soups not salty. Their Honey-walnut fried shrimp and fried rice are outstanding. The decor is stylish, bright, and clean with attentive service.

I agree with Rose-Marie Probst Seawall. Thai is a lot better than Chinese in Pinellas. Nora Thai,Bangkok 9,Sab cafe to name a few.

Danyel, Uptown Dallas (on McKinney st.) has enough bars and restaurants for the entire state of Texas, def. something for everyone! As far as bars go, I like a little daytime drinky at the TruckYard. If it's a nice day, this place can't be beat! (get there early to make sure you nab a seat, plus that's a great excuse to drink all day! http://texastruckyard.com/

Leesa Egelston. Me too. So good and so worth the $$. Most places give only 3 or 4 scallops. And don't taste as good as Carrabba's.
