Go to WY Dentistry (wydent.com) in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu. If it's fillings you need to get replaced, and an English-speaking dentist in Seoul who does it well, Dr. Wonhi Yoo (유원희 치과) comes very highly recommended. Not only does he speak English well, he's conveniently located in Sinsa-dong and has received some great feedback from English-speaking clientele. His address is: 서울시 강남구 선릉로 805 W빌딩 2충 (구: 신사동 666-8 W빌딩 2층) TEL: (02) 511-1234 or (02) 514-5575 email: whyoo@chol.com website: www.wydent.com HOURS: 0930-1800 (till 2100 on Wed & Thurs.) & 0930-1600 on Sat. Right now, I believe they're still having a special on filling replacements -- check here for further information: http://happywy.tistory.com/114 and here are some testimonials from Dr. Yoo's YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5EMdpcYveA

Angel H. replied:
Hello London, there are a lot of dentists in the Beomgye station area. Sae Bin Dentistry is a well known one in the area. They are friendly and they also do a great job on silver fillings. The cost is covered depending on if they cover your Health Plan. In most cases, they will cover it. Depending on the size of your cavity, the price can range from KRW 80,000 - 160,000. Here is the link for Sae Bin Dentistry. http://blog.naver.com/mjcommco?Redirect=Log&logNo=20204446456

Here is one more, Hanwool Dentistry and Orthodontic Clinic. They also do silver fillings and they have a 20 years of experience in their field. Check out both of the links and ask away for more questions. http://blog.daum.net/brillstar/246

Any recommendations for an English speaking dentist in Seoul? wisdom teeth are coming in. Thanks in advance :)
Tara S. replied:
I had mine out at Hus Hu in apbujeong. Best possible experience. The dentists hands were so steady that there was very little trauma from the site. I ended up just needing a few Advil for a couple of days, nothing heavy duty. They are really good with the numbing agents as well, I didn't feel a thing other than some pressure. I seriously cannot say enough good things about them!!

Boston Dental n Jongno is also great: http://www.bostonclinic.co.kr/src/en_sub0101.php Good English including a dedicated English speaking liaison, but then I understand all the big dental practices marketing to foreigners do as well. The offices are nice, near the Cheonggyecheon, central, etc. And I think the prices are what you should expect.

Can anyone recommend a good and inexpensive dentist in Seoul or Suwon? Thanks.
Pat C. replied:
Good dentist might depend on individual's experience. For me, I like to go to dentist annexed to KMI Gangnam. Exit at #10 of Seolleung Stan and find "Korea Medical Institute"(KMI). On 5 fl, there is a dental clinic which is with KMI. Not sure they can speak in English though

Gretchen Wright knows a good place in gangnam. in my experience, they are not as thorough as back at home. the scaling is not a full cleaning like what i am used to. its cheap though, about W14 000. its worth going to rather than paying $150 back at home. cavities are not really much cheaper. depending on the type of resin you you use, its about 100 000 per tooth. (maybe my dentist was just really expensive).
Gretchen W. replied:
This is where I went when I had a broken tooth get infected. They're really nice & they'll text you to remind you of your appointments. Everyone there has pretty good English except for the girl who talks to you about money. But she tries hard. https://www.facebook.com/OaksDentalClinic
