Not too local, but definitely worth the trip.. The Center For Eye Care, 360 Montauk Highway, West Islip 631-422-1110 .. just take sunrise west to 231 south.. when you hit Mtk hway.just turn left.. its right there...

Dr. Jack Oates, in Setauket or Port Jefferson out of OCLI, wouldn't trade him for nothing

Riverhead too far: If not then I would recommend East End Eye 937 E. Main Street Riverhead 369 - 0777. My doctor is Daniel Hamou - did cataracts in both eyes - wonderful results. Friends have seen Scott Sheren and others. I believe that there are 6 doctors at East End Eye.
