You can file yourself but it's a pain in the butt and you have to be super careful that you do everything right. Attorneys charge about $1,300 which includes the court filing fees, as long as it's a pretty simple bankruptcy. Her best bet is to call a lawyer and talk to them about her specific situation. It depends on her income and her debts due. Felix is an attorney in Gilette who is super nice and will answer any questions for her. 3076864164
