If you go to a diffrent office they will have to compleatly re do the sedation authorizations to Capital. I worked at an office for almost 10 years with Capital and their hoops. It would take up to six weeks to get a new preauth. That is if you can find an office that will do it and the wainting list isn't just as long as your current office. I hate to tell you that; I know that it is a system that is set up not to work well in favor of the patients or Denists. If anyone has Dentists who are taking Capital, MODA, Family Dental Care, or the others and you have a DMD you are lucky thease guys do it because they care. They are not making money on it if they are they would have to be a mill like Willamette Dental. Kona Kids Dentistry in Tigard is great! Dr. Brandon is great at dealing with children who have sensory issues & they have an in house anesthesiologist for sedation. In network with Delta Dental PPO & Moda premier plans but can bill any insurance company EXCEPT state plans.

It took me 3 dentists just recently to find one I really liked. DonPacific Family Dental in Sherwood is where I am going now. Either dentist at that location are wonderful. They get really strong reviews.

Yes I have. The paperwork they have you fill out asks all kinds of Q's that they will pick up on and discuss w/you. They did me and made me feel very comfortable when I listed Celiac and Colitus. Believe me...compared to others I went to,these guys a re awesome! Excellent bed side manor. BTW, It's Pacific Family Dental for the name. I missed the type o mistake w/my post above. Check out their website and you will see an area to click on that says "forms." Check out the Q's that they ask OR even better yet you could call them and ask Q's. I am seeing Dr. Ben Aanderud.
