Dr Beard is very compassionate. Although Blue Ridge Pet Clinic is really good too. I believe Dr. Beard is still located in show low. I have used nearly all the different vets up here at some point and you and you senior pet would do really well with either one of them.

We took our female American Bull dog to alta Sierra when she had been hit by a car . Her leg was shattered ! They were only concerned if we would be able to pay the bill first before they would do anything . I walked out ! Took her over to Dr. Despain . Walked us right in and treated her with no questions asked about our abilities to pay ! Happy to report she is happy healthy thanks to Dr. Despain and some great specialized care in the valley .

Yes that is the biggest problem we have on the mt on vet care . Dr. Despain has in the past come to me for some horses on a Sunday . Thankfully I haven't needed it in a while so not sure if he still does !

Pet Allies is the least expensive. Alo check with Humane Society, they also have low cost spay.

Pet Allies $50 for female dogs, $40 male dogs, normal price for low income families. Our phone correctly posted is 532-1602. HSWM has a grant for $35 for dogs, not sure the requirements. We do have a grant for CATS -- will cost under $10 to alter at cat at our clinic. 928-532-1602

Check at Barking Basement (Pet Allies) and the Humane Society. They both have low cost spay/neuter. Calis can make appointments for Humane society SNIP program I think $25 fee.

Humane Society was amazing for our dog. It was $50 for our 45 pound husky

We LOVE Alta Sierra, sorry you didn't. The price tag is also more reasonable and they take Care Credit:) We always use Dr Campbell and LOVE her!!! They are located on Clark Rd/ Hwy 260 in Show Low. It really depends on where you live in location to all of these wonderful clinics:)

We also have a fairly nice dog park and great path to walk, at Show Low city park. Pet Sense has obedience class if you are in need.

I am owner of Classic Canine II in Pinetop and yes we do have flea in mountain our winters has'nt been cold enough to kill fleas our racoons and skunks our carry them even our furry friends in the trees carry them, I tell my customers were ever they walk that has these cridders beware . Put the drops on there dog they last month and they won't have problems, Now the rains have started and we are see dogs coming in with them,
