Thanks, Mark Cheveallier and Molly Whalen McInnis. I've gone to work for a guy about half my age, Daniel Wilson. He is extremely fair in pricing, very knowledgeable, and excessively detail oriented, but I like him anyway. I've been a solo worker for so long I'd forgotten how much more ground can be covered with someone else who doesn't need watching. We are currently painting houses, but he is gearing more toward maintenance contracting in townhouse developments and commercial work. (318)-584-9763.

I highly disagree on the ONLY part of the above comment!! While he may be a great painter, he's definitely not the ONLY one to use! If it's a bigger job, LAGNIAPPE DESIGNS is awesome. If it's something smaller... my husband can do it as a side job. He has been painting for 20 yrs & is an absolute perfectionist!! His brother is the owner of Lagniappe Designs & he works for him. OH... on that note, Shad & Brandon Davis (Lagniappe Designs) also live in South Highlands (by Brd H.S.). They get the keys to the majority of the homes they work in so I just thought it was the norm... lol. They do tape, texture, float, paint, custom & faux finishes (just to name a little). Pictures & references available. And they clean up VERY well after themselves!:-)

I also used Kevin with Custom Finishes. He and his staff did the exterior of our home in Broadmoor before we moved to SH. They did such a great job that we called him to do our kitchen and an another room in our new house; including kitchen cabinets. Incredible. So much attention to detail and professional. And, as the previous poster said, he finishes one job before he starts another. Highly recommended.
