We had this exact thing happen, we took the drain cover off, replaced the threaded pipe connection at the bottom of the shower, and it fixed the problem. The threads in the pipe had small cracks that did not open until weight was put in the shower!:-), I hope this helps, if not call my brother at Keefe plumbing!:-)
