You can get dentures for free on the public dental system. You just need to call 1300 720 023 to go on the waiting list. As long as you have a pension or health care card you are eligible. They can make up a denture that only has a couple of teeth on it, or a whole set. You'll probably wait a couple of months but it's worth it.

We go to Dr Lam, he is great. I too have a dentist phobia and he has been the first dentist in years that I feel comfortable with. AND he is in town so no travelling in the horrendous traffic between here and Greenhills:)

We take our kids to Pacific Smiles at Greenhills and they are great!! We have seen a few different dentists there and they have all been fantastic, I take the kids twice a year for a free clean and check up through our private health cover and the kids don't mind going either.

I just took jackson into Dr Lam for a clean and mouthguard..he seemed fine- he offered a gap free check up/clean/flouride/xray diagnosis for whole family too:)
