Kari H. replied:
Sandy Scott at Salon Montage! She has been doing hair for over 10 years. She will give her honest opinion and encourages to let her know ASAP if you don't like something because she wants to make sure you are happy. And she'll let you know if she thinks something (cut or color) would't be good for you. After bouncing around from stylist for year I love going to her.

Crystal at Ambience Salon in SF. My daughter has long, curly, thick hair. Crystal colored and cut and it looked fabulous. My daughter is very picky and refused to let anyone else cut it the first 17 yrs of her life and she was incredibly happy with the work she did.

Sorry I don't have a recommendation, but I would make sure that whoever cuts your hair is certified to cut curly hair. Most stylists aren't taught how to cut curly hair in cosmetology school, so this makes a huge difference.
