If you live somewhere in the centre, this place might be close to you. http://www.generali.bg/en/contacts/ As Giuseppe said, you can just go to any state hospital and you will pay less but wait more. At private medical centres you will pay more but you will spend less time.
Gunda S. replied:
Not sure about the certificates, but yes - Tokuda if you need specific specialist (most speaking English) & for best ever, can not recommend enough GP I have met not just in BG, but in general Dr. Ivaylo Stoitchkov from International Medical Center (it's in the centre of Sofia), here's link: http://www.imc-sofia.com/consultants_7. I have been trough some health issues as well as paper work trouble/confusion in BG and he helped me with Everything! He even personally escorted me to Tokuda see another specialist to make sure I understand all in case they don't speak such great English.

Tokuda hospital does the full package, with an English-ish speaking nurse to help you from one department to the next. Takes about 3 hours and 250 leva, depending on the number of tests / certificates you need. http://www.tokudabolnica.bg/

Step 1: Go with a Bulgarian speaking friend to the Perva Gradska Bolnitsa on Patriarx Evtimi Step 2: Take the entrance to the right and walk up directly to the 2nd floor. If a guard ask s what you are looking for say "Imame sreshta s lichen lekar (GP) na gore" and continue. The point is not to pass by the Kassa where they will ask and give you papers for EU refund. It s a complete waste of time for 20 or 30 leva. Just pay "Na broi" to the GP but make sure you have 10 and 20 bank notes in your pocket. Doctors are allowed to receive directly money and it avoids the papermill downstairs that will drive you crazy. Step 3: Check the doors and find where there is a GP on duty. Step 4: Wait your turn and weh the doctor asks if you have documents tell him "Niama nujda shte platia na broi" Last year it was was 20 for a GP and 30 for a specialist Step 5: Give him the document you want to be signed. He/she will ask you a few questions and if you don t show weird signs you should get the signature and stamp (Petchat) I guess you can proceed this way in any public hospital. Just make sure you find the right door and avoid guards that lead you to the Kasa. This will not work in Tokuda because they are organised at the counter. In Tokuda you wont need a Bulgarian speaking friend either I presume. Thorax Medical Center should also be OK. Maybe easier than the one I mentioned because it s smaller and maybe a bit more expensive meaning not overcrowded.

I would strongly suggest Takuda Hospital. Until then, see if you can pop into the pharmacy and get him some electrolyte packets. Just mix it with water and see if you can get him to drink some. The pharmacy should be able to tell you how many are safe to consume and the time period. Hopefully, if he can keep that down, it will help him with his energy.
Nikoleta S. replied:
In the meantime you can look for oral rehydration therapy in the pharmacy, for example this one: https://apteka.framar.bg/30032333/стоперол-хидра-саше-12

I would go to a specialist, as a GP does not have the experience in the field. Tokuda hospital has a hematology ward. Call them up and ask for an appointment.
