I'm looking to put my son in daycare at least 2x a week for half days. He's 2 and I'd like for him to be around other children. Does anyone have any recommendations? ...
I used to work at Kids Castle in Barrington. It was nice there

I sent both of my girls to Tender Hearts in Somerdale. Those ladies do amazing work. They treat each kid like they are their own.

We toured A LOT of schools, and had my son in a few. GOOD: Goddard in Chews Landing, Cherrywood Academy in Blackwood. BAD: The Learning Experience in Voorhees (Not good with Boys, based on personal experience). We also had my son in Birch Tree in Barrington briefly as an infant. They may do better with older kids than littles, but there are a lot of kids crammed into that facility. It does have a GREAT outdoor area, and they make sure the kids get outside a lot. We recently found out my son has ADHD and Sensory Processing Disorder, which is why we've had to move around to find the right place for him. So based on my experience with my very active boy, who stopped napping at age 2, and needs to get outside and play a lot, my top two recommendations are Cherrywood and Goddard. I've toured a ton of other places...if you want to hear about them let me know! Good luck, I know it can be overwhelming to find the right place for your little guy!
Brit, try this website "care.com" . Its a website where people need babysitters, nannies, dog walkers. My friend does it and they all pay cash. My friend gets $20 an hour just to go grocery shopping for this older lady and clean for her. They have jobs for a couple hours a day or a couple hours a month. Whatever you prefer.
