Looking for an arts friendly electrician in Somerville area to install some track lighting in the Annex. Any recommendations?

Electrician recommendation Looking to get some electrical work done, any suggestions on electricians fellow Somervillians have used in the past?

I've used gibbons. Very professional, wear the booties over shoes when they come in and if they do work requiring holes they patch and clean as if never there. They put in recessed lighting and did an awesome job

We've always used Foti: http://www.fotielectric.com/ Kind of old-school guys. But always showed up when they said, and pricing was fair. Good work, never a problem with it later. They can totally deal with the old house issues. And they will help me out with advice between visits (I was just asking them stuff about a charging thing for electric cars, and they were helpful with what I needed to get on the specs). I need them next week though, so don't take all the days.

Gibbons is great for most homeowners. If you have multiple properties and need an electrician more often, better to have an individual guy that you can text and doesn't charge you crazy amounts, though Gibbons can be counted on to always be around, which is not the same as individuals, who always seem to have some drama.
