Sin the Skin in browns plains are good. I suggest Rah from there.

For portrait work, I would recommend Rah from Sin The Skin. He is absolutely fantastic. Check his work out on Instagram. His handle is rahrahtattoo I'm sure he'll be able to answer your questions about line blurring as well

Fine lines will no blue in time no matter the artist, it is just your body processing the ink and cant be stopped. Most will go in for touch up work to sharpen things again, but that takes many, many years. Also, I was recommended Morrissey Tattoo Couture in Aspley, and am current booked in for the first week of September to get my first ones done.

Sin the Skin are having a tattoo and art exhibition at Rocklea in October. http://www.worldtattooevents.com/south-east-queensland-tattoo-arts-exhibition/ Tonnes of stalls and artists to check out. Could be a good option to ask all your questions and see a lot of portfolios in one place.

There is a great place in browns Plains, called Garage Ink I think. They have the best portraits I've seen. Check them out.
