Never went to Dr. Chamberlin. I know his wife as she came into Meeks every now and then. She has Golden's so We started talking and found out that we were both from Santa Rosa!

Talked with Dr Wesfall's office this morning and explained the situation and was told they would get back to us, but they weren't even answering their phones later and never returned a message. Will try Dr Ortega in the morning. He's in so much pain but hoping antibiotics kick in soon so he can consider a root canal over extraction.

Have you tried putting a clove on the gum by the tooth that hurts for the pain? It will numb it and yes try Dr. Ortega in the morning. My friend had a broken wisdom tooth and they got her right in

Somewhere over the Sierras, is where you find help??? Dentists won't take Medical for services or care in Tahoe for Tahoe Residents. All the Dentists stopped excepting Medical for care and services years ago in Tahoe!!! Oh and the price scale for dental services rendered per Dentist or Dental Business, is completely arbitrary. Isn't that special??? Not!!!

April Westfall isn't taking any new patients unless it's an emergency. Definitely try her, otherwise the other option is in Placerville, Preventative Dental, 530-622-3430. Dr. Han is actually really good and will get you in quick.

DR Westfall is great she pulled 2 of my husbands teeth. She got him in quick two.

Sheri Benka care credit works for dental and even pets if you have any. Your amount depends on your credit.

DO NOT GO TO Dr. Ortega!!!!! A lot of people have gone to her and don't like her, not only is she super expensive but she does horrible dental work!! She messed up my sisters teeth and charged her over $6,000! I go with Tahoe family dentistry by Barton hospital with Dr. Cerceo. He is awesome and they took payments. I believe if you pay on time and are constant then they will do it. But please DO NOT go to Dr. Ortega unless you want to be in debt forever and not get your teeth fixed.

High Sierra Dental on Ski Run is great and has an excellent in-house dental program. Local and dog friendly!

There is Preventive dental in Placerville. Be warned medical dentists get paid for extractions so they will always tell you; "Looks like it has to come out." Good luck! My advice try to qualify for care credit, ask a dentist up here if they accept it and how to apply, without it I probably wouldn't have my teeth.

I had to use Care Credit, came in handy with no interest for a bit.

While you are looking for a solution to your issue, you might consider researching oil pulling. I know it sounds weird, but it frickin works. I can speak from experience. I had a good experience at Zephyr Cove Dental.

Dr. Chamberlain is next to Divided Sky in Meyers and he's awesome. I'm not sure if he takes medi-cal or not but he gives a 10% discount if you pay cash.

I go to Dr Wenck on skirun. He's good.

Dr Cassidy in the keys did good for me! Filled 2 cavities for around $500. Which wasn't a bad price considering I called around to a lot of people. I'm in the same boat as you, medical with no one up here taking it.

Thanks for all the help everyone. To follow through, Dr. Chamberlain is not taking any new patients currently, and the dentist offices I talked to referred me to Tahoe Oral Surgery Center. TOS was able to get me in with Dr. Rachel Appelblatt and she did a fantastic job with the wisdom tooth removal. The only painful part was the price, although it was still reasonable and they did offer a small discount for paying cash. I highly recommend Dr. Appelblatt and her staff, all were friendly and professional.

Dr. Yamaoka is a good dentist and a good guy, I'm sure he'd probably work with you on a payment plan.

Dr Kathy Jones, Emerald Bay Dentistry, is wonderful. She really cares about your oral health. However, she doesn't take MediCal. Have to go to Placerville. But if you decide to stay at the Lake talk to Kathy Jones about a payment plan.

Dr chamberlain is THE best! He's caring gentle and a genuine great man. When I I was Pregnant I was getting the calcium sucked from me for my baby and no one cared how much pain I was in: he did. I filled out the credit app but he knew I was poor and waived my fee! I have never come across someone so CARING IN HEALTHCARE
