Loco Jo's hits all your needs but the large group might be an issue depending on size as it's a small place and doesn't do reservations. Call ahead and give them a heads up. But for the money you can't beat the food, great staff https://www.facebook.com/Loco-Jos-Bar-Grill-106491792706965/

Provision Company! Can take a large crowd. Just put your name in as soon as everyone is there. Right on the water with a gorgeous view! Might get lucky and see some dolphins!

Flying Fish Cafe on Oak Island - ocean view and wonderful food and service!!!
Annelle R. replied:
Depends on price, atmosphere and view. Olivers is in Southport, on the water but pricey. Good food. Provision co is in Southport, on the water, outside dining, good food. Not a typical seafood restaurant. Shrimp are steamed not fried. They Do not take reservations so wait outdoors could be long. Mr. Ps is in Southport, not on the water, good food but pricey. If you just want a fried seafood restaurant experience where you can get a seafood platter I like Jones on oak island. Good food and reasonable. Plenty of room for a large crowd.
Renee Y. replied:
You have Olivers, Yacht Basin& Fishy Fish on the water. For Seafood/ Fish I would say Mr. Ps
