Dr. Scelfo at Hilltop dental studio. 898-8181. Its by Giant off of courthouse rd. My family has been going to him for ten years or so. Dentists and the staff are great!

Call a local nursing home. Ask to speak with their social worker. Explain exactly what you're going through. As some residents may have the same Medicaid, they may be willing to help. If that doesn't work, call Dr. Colina in Tappahannock. I know it's a bit if a drive but may take it.

Madison Williamson DDS off of 208 by the courthouse probably does. They do a really good job of working with people.

Medicaid provides very basic dental benefits for adults over 21. It only covers emergency appointments and pulling teeth.. Medicare doesn't offer any dental benefits unless you have purchased an additional dental plan. Anthem healthkeepers typically has very high deductibles meaning it won't cover any dental work until you have paid over $2000 in dental work out of your pocket. Dr. Valenti. He sang, drank coffee, and cracked his gum. Many memories of that office. Wonderful family. And those stairs. I could hear the creaking now, and smell "that" dentist office smell.

George Missett Sr., no, I meant Bobby Loftus, son of Mayor Loftus.. Bobby had a sister, Mary Frances. Billy Loftus had a sister, Nancy. Before he moved to Prospect he lived on Broad, 2 houses up from Mayor Loftus. Billy was a few years older than I, which would have made him about 71 or 72 if he were still living. Bobby Loftus was a year or two younger than I. I believe both boys went to St. John's.

Ann, when I was 5 years old, my father took me to Dr. Adonizio. He pulled one of my teeth out, and you're right ... NO NOVOCAINE!!!:p

We went to a dentist in WB. Dr. Miller, he didn't use novocaine either ... These were baby teeth and the drill would get so hot, it would burn the side of your mouth !! Yikes, it was sheer horror !!!

Dr. Fasciana sang. He was above J.C. Penny's for years, I believe, and, during the seventies until he retired, in the "New Rose Building", where the Tomato Bar is now. You didn't need an appointment, all you had to do is show up.

Doc Fasciana was a character alright. You didn't notice the drilling because the singing was so painful.
